Sheep

I raise a variety of hair sheep called Katahdin. I am in the process of transitioning my flock from a mixed hair breed to fully papered Katahdin flock.

Katahdin sheep are milder in flavor than most lamb you’ll find in the grocery store. Katahdin also have a mild temperament, and are easy to raise yourself if you wish to grow your own flock.

Goats

I raise pure-bred Nigerian Dwarf Goats.

These goats have a fabulous temperament, and are excellent milk goats. I sell kids at 12 weeks old, an easy age for them to acclimate to handling.

Geese

I raise a unique, smaller breed of goose called Oregon Minis. These geese are 3/4 to 1/2 the size of a typical goose (such as a Toulouse, or Emden)

Turkeys

I raise Bourbon Red Turkeys. This is a heritage turkey, which makes a lovely meat animal, or pet.

Chickens

I have a huge variety of chickens, but am working primarily with Delaware Broiler as a meat bird, and am working to develop my green egg layer flock (Easter Egger, or Green Queen for example).

In addition to these I can sell laying hens, or other chicks as they are available.

Ducks

I have pure-bred Magpies, or Indian Runner mixes.

Guinea Fowl

I am working with the Pearl Gray variety, and plan on expanding.

I like guinea fowls because they eat every bug and snake, and are an excellent alarm bird. Their eggs are also the very best I’ve ever tasted.

Rabbits

I have mixed breed meat rabbits. I am working to develop a colony environment, and hope to start selling bunnies soon.
